Bert West

2022 - 2023
Bert West of Divide, Colorado, U.S., served as the International President during the 2022-23 Kiwanis year. He was first elected an officer in 2020 and as a Kiwanis International trustee in 2016.
An active, third-generation member of more than 35 years, West is proud to advocate for clubs and members and focuses on promoting growth at all levels of Kiwanis. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ute Pass-Woodland Park, where he has served three terms as club president, two terms as division lieutenant governor and one term as governor of the Rocky Mountain District.
West is a Walter Zeller Fellow; Hixson Fellow; and Lusche Fellow. He also is a member of his home club’s Ute Pass Hall of Fame.
Outside of Kiwanis, he has spent his business career in the roofing industry. He sits on the board of directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado.
He and his wife, Sandy, have two daughters, both of whom are members of Kiwanis clubs. West always has Ace “The Wonder Dog” by his side.
